Temple (Sanctuary) of Artemis at Ephesus, Izmir, Turkey
It is estimated that the temple would be similar to the one in this figure.

Ephesus is home to the largest temple from the Artemis cult. In mythology Artemis, the twin of Apollo was the daughter of Leto and Zeus. The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World in the Classical Period.

Artemis cult is based on the tradition of Kybele, the most ancient goddess in Anatolia.

The Temple of Artemis

This structure was the most magnificent religious structure and the largest building in the Hellenistic world.

It is estimated that the temple would be similar to the one in this figure.

The Temple of Artemis is the first monumental structure that has been constructed entirely of marble.

Unfortunately, nowadays a single column and a bit of rubble remained of the Temple of Artemis to our times. There are a few columns and pieces of stone left from the temple. I think it would be more useful to explore the Ancient City of Ephesus instead of spending time here.
