Turkey’s first balloon festival with the participation of 15 balloons from 11 countries starting July 3rd Wednesday in the Cappadocia region.
Turkey balloon festival which will be held for the first time in the USA, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, Indonesia, Great Britain, Slovakia, France, the Netherlands, Japan, and Mexico will participate. Nearly 100 balloon pilots, ground crew and phenomenon from these countries will participate in the festival.
Cappadocia Balloon Festival, which will be held for the first time this year with the hosting of Ürgüp Municipality, will start with a folk dance show to be held in Ürgüp on July 3 in Cappadocia region.
After the opening shows in the feast area, a cortege will be organized along Kayseri Street from Cumhuriyet Square to the festival area with the participation of classical vehicles.
The first day of the festival will end with the Georgian folk dance and night glow show.
Figured balloons that will take off from Ürgüp festival area at 06:00 on Thursday, July 4 will provide a full visual feast in Cappadocia. On the same evening, a night glow show will be held by the hot air balloons after the Georgian folk dances at the Urgup festival area. The night will end with the Aslı Güngör concert.
In the festival program, on the evening of July 5, Ychorus and Procne choir and Aydın Kurtoğlu concert; July 6, 06:00 in the morning balloon flight and July 6 evening Hande Ünsal Concert and night glow shows.
The festival, which will be held with the participation of 15 different balloons from 11 countries, will be completed with balloon flights to be held in Goreme Love Valley on Sunday, July 7.
